3 top players will be in their second year…will they be a bust?

I think not on these guys….

RB Marshawn Lynch BUF

Had Lynch played all 16 games, he may have rushed for more yards than Peterson. The good news is: Lynch will be a stud back for years to come. The bad news is: we don’t know if his off the field troubles will cause him to miss some time. Keep an eye on his hit and run case and if that’s the only time we see his name in the paper that’s good. However, we all know these young men don’t seem to learn from their mistakes.

RB Adrian Peterson MIN

When the dust settled Peterson carried the ball 238 times for 1,341 yards and 12 touchdowns. Along the way he added 19 receptions for 268 yards and another touchdown. In all I’d have to say it was an extremely successful rookie season. The big question now is: can he repeat this performance in 2008? Adrian will be one of fantasy football’s top backs this season.

WR Dwayne Bowe KC

I think Bowe is a very good receiver and his rookie stats prove it. Dwayne pulled down 70 receptions for 995 yards and 5 touchdowns last season. Rookie receivers tend not to post great numbers, so seeing a rookie with nearly 1,000 yards proves he is going to be a very good NFL receiver. This season I’d expect to see more of the same from Bowe with a few more yards and a couple more touchdowns.
